Why Asset Academy Is a Paid Room: Commitment, Accountability and Better Conversations
Asset Academy started as an open door. Making it a paid community wasn't about the money. It was about who shows up, and how seriously they take the work.

When I first opened Asset Academy by Zova Group, I wanted as many people as possible to have access to the lessons I learned the hard way: credit, capital, fleet operations, hospitality and the move into land and new construction. Open access brought a lot of people in. It also taught me something important about how people learn.
Asset Academy is now a paid community. I want to explain why, because the reason says a lot about how I think about building anything.
Skin in the game changes behavior
Every business I've built has taught me the same lesson: people value what they invest in. When I spent my last dollars on courses to learn credit and funding, I didn't skim them. I studied them, applied them and came back for more. The investment made me serious.
I saw the same pattern in the community. The members who made the most progress were the ones who showed up consistently, asked specific questions, did the work between conversations and came back with results or problems worth solving. A paid room makes that the norm instead of the exception.
Better rooms produce better conversations
In business, the room you're in shapes the questions you ask. When a community is full of people who are committed, the conversations get more specific and more useful. Instead of “how do I get rich with cars?”, the questions become “how should I underwrite this vehicle for my market?” or “what does my business credit foundation need before I apply for asset financing?”
Those are the conversations I want to be part of. They're the same kinds of questions I worked through when I scaled Royal Rentals from Pittsburgh to Charlotte to Scottsdale, and the same ones I hear from the operators I mentor who are building four-to-eight-car fleets.
Accountability is the real product
Information is everywhere. You can find videos on credit, rentals and real estate any time you want. What most people are missing isn't information. It's structure and accountability: a clear sequence, people who will tell you the truth about your plan and a reason to keep showing up when progress feels slow.
Inside Asset Academy, the focus is on frameworks I actually use: building and protecting credit, separating business and personal finances, underwriting assets before buying them, running operations with hospitality standards and thinking like an investor as the deals get bigger. The goal is for members to leave each conversation with something they can apply that week.
What it isn't
I'll be direct, because the internet often isn't. Asset Academy is education and community. It isn't a promise of income, funding approvals, credit scores or investment returns. Everyone's starting point, market and execution are different. What I can offer is the playbook I've lived, a serious room and honest feedback. The work is still yours.
Who it's for
Asset Academy is for founders, aspiring fleet operators, exotic car owners thinking like business owners and anyone ready to treat credit, capital and assets as tools for building something lasting. If you're looking for shortcuts, it probably isn't the right fit. If you're ready to do the boring, consistent work that compounds, you'll be in good company.
How to get the most out of a serious room
Whether it's Asset Academy or any other community you join, a few habits separate the people who grow from the people who just watch. Come with one clear goal for the next ninety days. Share real numbers and real problems, not a highlight reel. Apply one idea before you ask for the next one. And give back when you can, because explaining what you've learned to someone a step behind you is one of the fastest ways to master it yourself.
The door is still open
Making Asset Academy paid didn't close the door. It changed the room behind it. If you want to see what's inside and decide whether it fits where you're headed, the community page has the details. Come ready to work.
